Boarding at Ackworth
Ackworth offers a welcoming and flexible boarding experience for students aged 11-18. Boarding options include full and weekly, allowing families to choose a schedule that works best for them. Flexi-boarding is also available to provide a tailored solution for day pupils, offering overnight stays when needed.
Boarding at Ackworth is unique. It naturally creates a close-knit community, as our boarding house is in the main school building, and everyone boards in one place. This allows friendships to develop across countries and year groups. When boarding, students have access to study spaces, leisure areas, and sports facilities in a structured yet relaxed setting. The dedicated boarding staff provide 24/7 pastoral support, ensuring students feel safe, supported, and valued. Boarding at Ackworth enables students to fully immerse themselves in school life, build lifelong friendships, and develop independence in a nurturing environment.
