Coram House extra curricular activity
Sport lessons are delivered by specialist teachers. We have two “in house” sport coaches who teach from Nursery to Year 6 and cover a great variety in PE, Games and Swimming. Our children also benefit from specialist coaching in tennis run by Alice Robson (LTA national development coach of the year 2020) and Chris Parker (Ackworth table tennis club). Our pupils have further opportunities to develop their interest and talent in sport when joining our after-school clubs. Additionally, we run Inter-House sport competitions throughout the year.
Music is taught by specialist teachers from Nursery to Year 6. Pupils can access music tuition on a 1:1 basis if they wish to learn an instrument.
Our children can join choir after school, music theory class and orchestra both scheduled at lunchtime. There are other musical groups and ensemble which our pupils can join free of charge.
Art is taught from Nursery to Year 6. Our children can join Art club and illustration club after school. We offer a calm colouring club at lunchtime. We also run Inter-House Art competitions.
Drama is taught from Year 3 to Year 6. Our children can join Drama club after school too. Our Year 6 pupils are involved in a production in Summer 2.
